The Komen Lowcountry Race for the Cure® is successful because of the 1000+ volunteers, our local sponsors and more than 8,000 participants. Through the community’s steadfast support, we have been able to give more than $3.5 million back to the Lowcountry. We’ve come a long way since our first race in 1994 where we hosted 900 participants and raised $25,000. 2010 marks the 17th Annual Komen Lowcountry Race for the Cure® and we want this year to be our best yet.
