 Lowcountry Pink for the Cure Decoration Competition

The Lowcountry Race for the Cure® needs your help! Join the "Lowcountry Pink for the Cure" in our efforts to bring awareness and empower our community in the fight against breast cancer.

We are challenging all area businesses to get creative with the color PINK! The idea is to decorate your storefront in a pink theme. All windows must be decorated by October 1st, 2010 and remain up through the Komen Lowcountry Race for the Cure® on October 16, 2010. The windows can be decorated in whatever fashion you choose, but you must display the Race poster.

This is a competition, so windows will be judged on creativity, breast cancer awareness and the ultimate pink pizzazz! Winners will be announced on the radio as well as on ABC News 4 Lowcountry Live. The grand prize winner will also have a live radio remote broadcast from their business.

Important Dates to Remember:

Wednesday, September 29: Registration Deadline

Friday, October 1: Window Displays Up

Monday, October 4: Judging Begins

Friday, October 15: Winners Announced on Lowcountry Live/Live Radio Remote from Winner

Saturday, October 16: Join us at the Race

Sunday, October 17: Windows may be "undressed"
