MUSC Hollings Cancer Center was recently named a designated cancer center by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). This makes us South Carolina's only NCI-designated cancer center -- and one of only 65 in the country. Being an NCI-designated cancer center means we can bring the best research, clinical trials, and new therapies to our patients. After all, the answers to cancer's complex questions are pursued in the labs first and then delivered to patients.
